This is probably one of my favorite captures of 2025. Nicole and I were just driving by the school to go to our favorite place to find mushrooms to photograph and she happened to see this American Kestrel on the powerline.
She saw it fly away toward the back of the school so I tried to follow it and ended up about 40ft away from it right after it had grabbed a snack.
